Review:

I devoured Don't Turn Around, the first book to feature Detective Jennifer Knight and had been eagerly awaiting Time to Die. I was very lucky to receive an advanced reader's copy from the publisher, via Netgalley, so I got stuck in straight away!

Caroline Mitchell has a real talent for storytelling that far surpasses many of her peers. Her words flow from the page with ease, the attention to detail painting vivid images in my head that play as if on screen. All the sights, sounds and smells that are detailed in the story...I experienced those too.

Detective Jennifer Knight is fast becoming one of my favourite characters. She is likeable and believable, and I just know we'd be firm friends. The other characters are also well written, and the supernatural elements of the story add another dimension.

I cannot praise Time to Die highly enough; it's simply breathtaking.
