My review:

I really like Allie; she's not typical of the teenage girls that tend to feature in books for young adults. She's neither a girly girl nor a total tomboy, she is entirely average, normal (whatever that is!)  She defies her parents and heads off onto the plains with her uncle to chase tornados, something she's wanted to do for a long time. This shows defiant determination and reveals how stubborn she can be.

When her life is transformed by her otherworldy experience, she sets out to rid herself of the curse, to stop herself being a danger to those she holds dear. What follows is a fast-paced race against time to beat the dreaded Deathwind. Confused? All will become clear when you read Twisted.

This book will appeal to adults young and not so young - it's an explosive rollercoaster ride into the eye of the hurricane. You'd better hold on tight!
