Review: Undercover Secrets by Sally Berneathy

Undercover Secrets - Sally Berneathy

Having previously read one book by this author, I was not expecting to enjoy this book at all. I'm pleased to say that I was wrong! The story is good, an undercover cop falling for a reporter investigating the very case he is trying to solve; the cop's struggle to retain his secret identity; the reporter's battle with her soon to be ex-husband and the ensuing custody battle for their twelve year old daughter; the will they/won't they ups and downs of Allison and Brad's relationship and the catching of a serial killer. Interesting storyline, well written and endearing characters, and a whodunit that keeps you guessing till the end.
Slip ups in grammar let this book down, but an enjoyable easy read that combines crime and romance.
