Review: Blood of Angels (Blood Hunters #2) by Marie Treanor

Blood of Angels - Marie Treanor

I'd like to thank the author and publisher for the copy I received in return for an honest review.

Onto book two... I loved book one so much that I was a little hesitant as I started book two, it couldn't be as good as book one, could it?

I needn't have worried at all. This book focuses on Istvan, a friend of Mihaela's who we first met in book one. We learn more about Istvan as he struggles to contain his attraction to vampiress Angylaka, owner of the Angel club.

This book is as well written as the first. We encounter lots of interesting characters, both vampire and human, and there is no shortage of action - violent clashes and sexual connections aplenty! There are twists and turns, unexpected betrayals and alliances and good old-fashioned fights.

I'd recommend this to fans of paranormal writing and those new to the genre. Reading this after book one is a must and I can't wait to start book three!
