Review:

You Belong to Me is a superbly written fast-paced psychological thriller that I simply could not put down. Samantha Hayes' disturbing and gritty novel grabbed my attention from the very outset, resulting in my reading it in one session, interrupted only by a few hours of broken sleep. It's THAT good.

Isabel's story is compelling and scary. A believable character, I felt utterly terrified for her as she's unable to shake the feeling of being stalked. Her terror leapt from every page.

Lorraine is such a great character; the determined cop with an edge of vulnerability that makes her likeable and so readable. The threads of her home life intermingled with her strong work ethic and will to solve the case is beautifully written.

Twists? Check. Turns? Check. An unforseen ending? Check. I'm thrilled to have discovered this fantastic author, whose other books have now been added to my TBR list.

You Belong to Me is breathtaking. Buy this book, you won't be disappointed!
