Adapt is a thriller set in an English rural town, where Daniel O'Neal lives and works. Life changes suddenly for Daniel as his mind begins to play tricks on him, and he develops paranoia. As the situation unfolds he begins to realise there may be more playing with him than just his mind.
Initially, I quite liked it and thought the story was reasonable. I did find some of the conversation rather stilted and parts of the book similarly didn't flow that well, which was a bit disappointing.
