She loves her husband. She's obsessed by a stranger.
She's a devoted mother. She's prepared to lose everything.
She knows what she's doing. She's out of control.
She's innocent. She's guilty as sin.
She's living two lives. She might lose both...
I adored Watson's first book, Before I Go To Sleep, so was thrilled to receive an ARC of this, his second, from the publishers via Netgalley.
I hoped this book would be as compelling as the first, but I was wrong. It's so much more! I was hooked from the first chapter and could not stop reading until I'd reached the thrilling conclusion.
Julia is wonderfully human and utterly believable. Her story is gripping, gritty and fascinating. Watson's prose is engrossing and brilliant. I wish all books were written like this.
